This bike is fitted with a 348 cc O.H.I. Dart engine made by Andrew Alexander Sidney, which features an aluminium cylinder head and kicks out 17.5 horsepower. Tony only aquired the motorcycle 18 months ago, making it a fairly recent acquisition in the grand scheme of things. Previous owners had chopped and changed various parts in order to turn the bike into a more high performance machine, and it had also rusted and been poorly fitted in places.
However, this motorcycle has, with the help of Tony, been restored to as close as its original state as is possible. The purple and black paint job really finish off this beautiful example of early British motorcycle manufacture.
