A sunny but gusty day at Stafford as the traders set out their stalls in preparation for the weekend. A continual stream of bike- and accessory-laden vans and trailers are parking up and offloading. In the halls you can smell oil, leather and polish, as the standholders add the final sheen to their display motorcycles, inching them into position.
Guest of honour Phil Read's here already and currently being interviewed in the guest suite, so expect a video and image gallery soon on CBC and our Facebook page.

We're expecting in excess of 33,000 visitors over the Saturday-Sunday show weekend. Attractions this year include over 500 trade stands, 70 club stands, a £1 million Bonhams auction with some massive big hitters from Brough and Vincent up for sale, the spectacular Wall of Death, Classic Racer GP paddock, trials demonstrations and hundreds and hundreds of classic motorcycles to admire, discuss or purchase. To cap it all off we've managed to book eight-times world champ Phil Read as our VIP guest of honour. Phil will be interviewed on stage twice on the Saturday and Sunday and also in the GP paddock for autograph signing.
It promises to be the biggest and best show of the year and we look forward to meeting you over the weekend.
