I read with interest the write up on a standard Model X in the September 2016 issue. I agree with everything you said, having previously had two Model Xs.

I have included a photograph of my Model X SS100 project. Although I have now covered 500 miles since its completion, Iโve had a few teething problems, though Iโm hoping to have them ironed out soon.
I think it is unique, and itโs made of all period Model X and Matchless parts.
