Yamaha TZ celebrated at Donington

The Egham Royal Show is on August 25-26, at Whitehall Lane, Egham, Surrey.

Vehicles expected range from the 1920s to the late 1970s and include cars, motorcycles and commercials.

Each entrant gets a brass commemorative plaque and there are also small cash prizes too for the various classes that are judged.

  Welcome at Epworth
Entrants are invited to exhibit at the north Lincolnshire town’s show on August 27.

Every year, August Bank Holiday Monday sees the show playing host to a range of vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, commercials and agricultural tractors, and thanks to there being no age cut off, a mixed collection is always guaranteed for enthusiasts to enjoy.

Ben Gautrey Foundation
A charity weekend is being held in memory of young racer Ben Gautrey at The Manor Biker Cafe in Bellerby, North Yorkshire. On August 11, from 7pm two bands are playing in a barn, tickets £10 including camping and supper.

On August 12 there’s a free fun day with BSB riders, grid girls, a raffle, tombola, stands etc. Confirmed riders attending are Dan Linfoot and James Westmoreland.

Yamahas at Donington
Yamaha will be celebrating its road racing heritage, and 40 years of the TZ, at the Donington Festival over August 11-12, organised by the CRMC.

The event features the MotoGP M1, ridden by eight-time world champion Phil Read and 1977 F750 world champion Steve Baker. There will be a full 30 race programme over the weekend.

Burpham Classic Show
Burpham Motor Racing Club holds its third Classic Car and Motorcycle Show, on the Cricket Pitch, Burpham, near Arundel, West Sussex on Sunday, September 2. This year, guest of honour is John Surtees, and the show will support his charity, The Henry Surtees Foundation.

More than 200 classic cars and motorcycles will be on display and theme for the show.
