As the Rickman Métisse was made and designed by the Rickman brothers only a mile away from the museum, they have always been searching for one. Recently they were lucky enough to find this one from Mr Wesley Harris in Portland, Dorset, genuine but in a very sorry state and in need of full restoration.
Luckily Gerry Lisi still has the glass fibre moulds so he manufactured a set of glass fibre kit. With a bit of guidance from Don and Derek, and lots of information, the bike is now up and running. It is now ready for testing and on display in the museum.
