The Robert White Collection auction, held at Bonhams’ HQ in New Bond Street, London on Monday, September 19, hammered at £3 million, with 99% sold.

The late Robert White bequeathed the collection’s proceeds to fund advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment in his home county of Dorset.
Motorcycle highlights included a lovely, unrestored, fully documented 1951 Vincent 998cc Series C Black Shadow sold for £82,140, and a 1921 Megola (built from a genuine engine in replica cycle parts), sold for exactly the same amount.
